The students and volunteers of Red Ribbon Club, Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala participated in district level competitions organized by Red Ribbon Clubs in collaboration with Punjab State AIDS control Society and Youth Services department Punjab. These competitions were focused on poster making and Essay writing on the themes of voluntary blood donation, HIV AIDS awareness and Drug Abuse. A series of lectures was organized at Govt. Mohindra College, Patiala under these themes under the guidance of Dr. Malkit Singh Mann .This event was presided over by Mr.Yadwinder Singh, Punjab State AIDS control Society
Dr. Khushvinder Kumar, college Principal Modi College congratulated the participants. Dr. Rajeev Sharma, Incharge of Red Ribbon Club and programme officer NSS unit of the college told that our 15 students participated in these competitions to spread the message of voluntary blood donation, not to discriminate with the HIV/AIDS people and to say No to drugs.
